I stayed at this place for 2 days and had a fantastic experience, thanks to the incredibly friendly staff and the delicious variety of food at breakfast.

We absolutely loved our one-night stay here! the bedroom was comfy and cool, and the external bathroom was fantastic. the staff were incredibly friendly and provided top-class service. the location was perfect, right on the lake, and it was conveniently close to Bacalar, the lagoon, and the jungle, with private entry to the lagoon.

As adventure travelers, we absolutely loved staying at this charming wooden bungalow by the lagoon. The mosquito screens on the bed and windows provided some protection, but it was exciting to experience the wild side. The open-air shower in the private bathroom allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in the jungle surroundings. The proximity to the lagoon was a definite highlight, and we enjoyed swimming and kayaking in the crystal clear turquoise water. The fact that the property is eco-friendly added to the appeal, as we always appreciate efforts to help the planet.

The staff here are absolutely amazing, so friendly and helpful! The location is mind-blowing, right in the jungle with a jaw-dropping view of the lagoon. The bungalows are surprisingly clean despite the raw wooden floors, and the eco toilets have no bad smell at all. The outdoor shower is a unique experience, with hot water available. Plus, we didn't spot a single bug or animal in our room, which was magical considering we were in the jungle! The peaceful atmosphere and picture-perfect lagoon make it ideal for a honeymoon. We also loved the hotel's eco-friendly policy and complimentary kayaking. It's truly a complete ecoadventure experience!

There were a few negative aspects to our experience. the road leading to the hotel was in poor condition and required a sturdy vehicle to navigate.

We had an amazing time at Villas Eco-Romanticas! The private palapas on the lagoon were heavenly, creating the perfect atmosphere for relaxation. The table service provided was excellent, and we were always taken care of by the attentive staff. The spacious palapa areas on the lagoon were a treat, and we enjoyed the delicious food served throughout the day at reasonable prices. The food is excellent, with a charming palapa over the water. A nice walkway circles the water area, offering a pleasant stroll. Kayaks and life jackets are provided, and the swings are safe. The friendly staff is hardworking, polite, and kind.
